We are pleased to announce the appointment of distinguished lawyer, arbitrator, and jurist Dr Paul Chiy as Senior Consulting Counsel - UK Litigation.

Dr Chiy is a Barrister and Solicitor Advocate of the Senior Courts of England & Wales, with full rights of audience before all courts and tribunals in England, Wales, France, and the Central African region. He also serves as a Jurist (arbitrator/mediator) with the Cameroon Centre d’Arbitrage du GICAM.

In 2004, Dr Chiy was appointed a Magistrate (Cambridge Bench) by the Lord Chancellor, and he continues to serve on the Supplemental List for England and Wales.

Dr Chiy’s cross-jurisdictional experience spans both developed and developing countries and covers all three branches of government -judiciary, executive, and legislature. His deep expertise and proven independence make him a valuable addition to our litigation practice and a significant asset in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients directly as a senior independent lawyer.

An internationally recognised mediator, conflict strategist, and author, she brings over 25 years of experience in high-value and sensitive commercial and workplace disputes.

Anelena brings over two decades of experience in legal administration, human resources management, and education to this senior non-lawyer consulting role. She holds a Master’s in Family Education, a postgraduate degree in Direction of Educational Entities, and a bachelor’s in education. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and is highly skilled in public relations, customer service, and leadership.

As our Consulting Director (Practice Management, HR, Immigration & Employment) Anelena plays a pivotal role in providing technical consulting deliverables in practice management and for ABS&P’s legal team’s activities in her areas of specialization.
