ABS&P People

Managing Partner: Our Founder, Chairman and Managing Partner, Dr Andre Alexander, is the majority shareholder and lead lawyer at ABS&P. 

Consulting Partners are independent senior lawyers with preferred status for ABS&P engagements. They may optionally participate in the firm’s non-financial management decisions but are not liable for ABS&P’s corporate defaults. Unless specifically authorized in writing by the Managing Partner, Consulting Partners cannot bind ABS&P.

Senior Consulting Partners have all the obligations and privileges of Consulting Partners, but additionally, have priority for ABS&P’s client engagements as well as participation in its non-client-facing activities.

Consulting Associate Partners: Our Consulting Associate Partners are independent consultant lawyers who assist the partners in their engagements. They are not liable for any of ABS&P's defaults as a corporation. Unless this is specifically authorised in writing by our Managing Partner, they are not able to bind ABS&P.

Consulting Directors /Directors: Our consulting directors /directors (non-board and non-lawyer) are senior consulting professionals who are tasked to support ABS&P in various client-facing and non-facing roles such as: technical support, policy & ethics advisory, business development, marketing, HR, and immigration consultancy, practice management, etc. They do not take part in the financial decisions of ABS&P and are not responsible for its default. They cannot bind ABS&P.

Consultant Lawyers: Our Consultant Lawyers are independent legal professionals who assist our clients in jurisdictions where their representation is needed or when specialized external advice is required. They typically provide their services directly to our clients, with ABS&P overseeing their activity as the client's representative. Consultant Lawyers are not responsible for any defaults by ABS&P as a corporation, and unless specifically authorized in writing by our Managing Partner, they cannot bind ABS&P.

Honorary Appointments /Patrons: Our honorary appointees and patrons are usually serving judges or lawyers with judicial experience who opt to support ABS&P's public goals as a legal services provider. They take part in the designated activities of ABS&P at their option and when they are not conflicted in their judicial appointments. They do not participate in the financial management of ABS&P and are not liable for its defaults as a corporation.

  • Her Honour Judge Milenka-Seka Žižić

    Honorary Deputy President of ICDRO - International Court of Dispute Resolution Online.

    Her Honour Judge Milenka-Seka Žižić is a judge of the Supreme Court of Montenegro. Where she is not conflicted as a judge, she gives active support to ICDRO's President and its Council in their mission to promote ICDRO's role in increasing levels of access to justice in civil matters worldwide.

    The Honourable Nico Tuijn is a distinguished jurist and senior judge of the Court of Appeal in ’s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, where he serves with distinction in the Criminal Law Division.

  • James Corbett KC, Barrister & Advocate

    Senior Consulting Partner

    James Corbett KC, FCIArb, is a highly experienced legal professional with an extensive background as a Jersey Advocate and English Barrister. He has more than thirty years of legal expertise. He is currently President of ICDRO. He previously served as a Recorder and Deputy High Court Judge in England and Wales, and he currently serves as a panel Deemster in the Isle of Man, where he acts as both a trial judge and an appellate judge in the Staff of Government Division. He is governing Bencher of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.

    James has expertise in a number of legal areas, including commercial and company law (particularly board and shareholder disputes); insolvency and bankruptcy; intellectual property and contentious trust and estate disputes.     Jane Gunn, FCIArb, FRSA, FPSA is an internationally recognised mediator, conflict strategist, and author, with over 25 years’ experience in high-value and sensitive commercial and workplace disputes. A former City solicitor (now non-practising), she is accredited by CEDR, certified by the International Mediation Institute (IMI), registered with the Civil Mediation Council (CMC), and a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).     Dr Chiy is a Barrister and Solicitor Advocate of the Senior Courts of England & Wales and holds full rights of audience before all courts and tribunals in England, Wales, France, and the Central African region. He also serves as a Jurist (arbitrator/mediator) with the Cameroon Centre d’Arbitrage du GICAM.

    Appointed an English Magistrate (Cambridge Bench) by the Lord Chancellor in 2004, he remains on the Supplemental List for England and Wales.

    Dr Chiy’s cross-jurisdictional experience spans both developed and developing countries, and all three branches of government, judiciary, executive, and legislature. As a Deployable Civilian Expert and member of the UK Civilian Stabilisation Group, he has advised UK Government departments including the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), Ministry of Defence (MoD), and Department for International Development (DFID).

    Akash Prasad, LLB, PDLP, is a dual-qualified barrister and solicitor, admitted to practice in both Fiji and Nauru. He brings broad experience from both public and private sectors, with service as a legal officer to two municipal councils in Fiji and as a lawyer in leading Fijian law firms and as an Associate to the Justices at Nauru's Appeal Court.

    Personal Assistant to the Managing Partner

    Anne Regier, LLB, Cert. Justice (Harvard), Cert. Finance (Cambridge, is an accomplished multilingual legal and administrative professional with broad international experience across legal practice management, dispute resolution, and legal publishing. Currently serving as Personal Assistant to the Managing Partner and Registry Assistant at the International Court of Dispute Resolution ONLINE (ICDRO), she plays a key role in managing high-level operations and supporting institutional registry functions.

    Her previous roles include Practice Manager (Commercial) at ABS&P, where she coordinated urgent client matters, managed events, and supported alternative dispute resolution. A former judge for the UK National Mediation Awards and a contributing editor for Sweet & Maxwell, Anne also has experience lecturing in international dispute resolution and advising European law firms on cross-border business structuring, legal marketing, and translation. She holds an LLB from the University of Latvia as well as qualifications in law and finance from the universities of Harvard and Cambridge.
